OVH Germany have support today in the afternoon. You should call them immediately. It seems something went wrong with Partitions Manager, btw, you can use partitions manager provided by windoofs itself. All what you have to do is, manoeuvre yourself through the french context menues. You have knowledge in Windows as explained above in first posting and shouldn't be a prob for you then.
Anyway, your server isn't available yet and may a technician should finish some works on it first. They are on location for 24/7.

Be patient a bit and everything's becomes fine

Ja, es hat sich auch vorerst erledigt, hab wohl jemanden erreicht.

Jetzt laeuft alles - ich werde jetzt erstmal testen ob ich das mit der Partitionierung bzw. Formatierung hinkriege.

Es sind halt die kleinen Dinge, die bei OVH noch fehlen, aber es fehlt nicht mehr viel zur Perfektion.

ich hatte gestern das selbe problem mit der reinstallation.. es schlug ca. 3-4x fehl und dann ging automatisch ein tech. an den server und startete die installation von hand.. danach lief es...

(dies war ca. um 23uhr.. also deutlich ausserhalb der supportzeiten)

den KVM findest du unter dienstleistungen -> netboot ;-)

I can't reinstall the server, there's an error in restarting the system. That's the third order in reinstallation.

And i can't contact the support at weekend... What the hell... I just want my harddrive and not only 20 gb, then it's all ok .

So much problems, i never had before. And i can't order an normal english or german version in Windows at start... I tryed it, but it won't works...

I can't pay 533€ each month, and it won't works 2-3 days... It's expensive !!!

I need this damn server today and not next week.

I ordered a server before, and there was a hardware defect, till today ( 3 weeks ) i don't have a moneypayback or anythihng else........

I am shocked :/


edit: I don't know, where i can find the kVM in my usercenter ? Maybe it works with it.

When i try to hardboot, this errormessage:

"Der Server ist in Störung, Sie dürfen nicht selbst einen Hard-Reboot durchführen."

"The Server is in trouble, you are not allowed to order a hardreboot by yourself..."

Sorry for my bad english.

I had the same Error, during a "crash" during the install, which turned out to be just a very long installation. 207m14s for a reinstall. Maybe something is still patching ?

I had downloaded "Partition Manager", it's a great tool and work for Windowsserver.

After the installation finished, i have to restart the windowsserver - i did.

And now i can't connect, i can't hardboot, i can't reinstall. I can do nothing.

When i try to hardboot, this errormessage:

"The Server is in trouble, you are not allowed to order a hardreboot by yourself..."

on windows you have 20gb on c: and the rest on d:
you have to format it and mount (or maybe it's
automaticly mount on windows, sorry I don't know
what is windows, I'm linux's man ...).

this server works with LSI cart and not VIA. It's real
hardware raid cart and not cheap chipset raid.

I don't think you will be able to change the raid thought
a soft in windows, but you can try. maybe they propose
something in windows to do the job that you can do only
in bios.

ich kenne mich im prinzip recht gut aus mit Windoofroots, aber jetzt habe ich ein Problem, welches mir zu schaffen macht.

Hintergrundinformation:

Rootserver: http://www.ovh.de/produkte/bixeonquadricore.xml
Betriebssystem: Windows * Franzoesisch *
Festplatte: 2x 147 GB

Das Betriebssystem Windows ist leider erforderlich, da ich sehr viele Applikationen habe, die nicht unter Unix ausfuehrbar sind.


Problem:

Bei meinen anderen Windowsservern von OVH hatte ich immer die Moeglichkeit anfangs ueber das "VIA RAID TOOL" die Raiderstellung zu taetigen. Der Bixeon hingegen kann dies zu meinem Bedauern nicht mehr. Es gibt a) nicht mehr dieses Tool und wenn ich b) die Datei "vraid_driver_v540a.zip " runterlade und installieren moechte, kommt die Fehlermeldung, dass dieses System nicht unterstuetzt wird.

Das kann ich mir nicht erklaeren, bei den vorherigen Windowsservern hat das wunderbar geklappt.

Ich brauche jetzt also ein Programm, mit dem ich ohne Probleme die Raid's erstellen kann auf dem Server, damit ich keine 20 gb, sondern die vollen 300 GB ( ca. ) zur Verfuegung habe.

Ich hoffe ihr koennt mir helfen, hab schon alles erdenkliche probiert.

PS: ES IST DIE FRANZOESISCHE WINDOWSVERSION
