as I posted 2-3 days ago, we have the protection against
attacks. how does it work ? you have full bandwidth (100Mbps
or 1Gbps) for the download of the size less that 32Mb. If
your file is smaller that 32Mbs, you have full bandwidth.
If your file is bigger that 32Mbps, you will have full
bandwidth during 32Mb of download, then you download will
be limited to 10Mbps until the end. It allowed us to
limit the attacks from internet and from our network to
internet. There is no limit in inside of our network. Just
when you are going out. And this limitation is per download
(every flow), not per ip, not per server, no per another
thing. just per flow.

I still don't get it wether SLA is used or not now. I ordered a new EG with SLA and it gets partially worse speed than my old SuperLan w/o SLA. I think the network is overloaded already at peak times very bad. Shouldnt SLA assure that this isnt possible anymore?
I tryed several 10-100mb Testfiles from big european DC's connected all with at least 1GBiT/s. Speeds are quite useable during night ( 3-5am ) with 20-30mb/s average, but on peak times like 1-5pm I cant even reach 10mb/s.

I have to say, the offers are great as expected from OVH
You get alot of hardware and a very good support for the price, which is very unusual on the Server market.

There is only one thing that I'm missing. That is an option to rent an Serial Console or KVM Option for Dedicated Servers. That is the only thing I am missing here.

At the moment, there is technical difference between noSLA
and SLA. I didn't apply noSLA in my routers. Why ? I try to
see if we can propose SLA for all customers with no limit
transfert per month. Yes ... I'm crazy but it can work ...
I'll second what many peoples are saying. Your offers are, without a doubt, fair and now you are thinking about bandwidth-SLA for all customers...
Honestly said, I wonder how you want raise that offer again and *really* hope you can keep that level
Your support team is showing up much more presence in forum now and answer prompt asked question --> that's good and is as important as good offers!

Many thanks.

Thanks ! but we have worked in this way in France for 8 years now
and it's normal for us (me and my team) to try to be close with
our customers, to understand them and try to propose more for less
money. We need all your feedback. Good feedback (we are glad to check
that we are going in the right way) and bad feedback (the way is
long, we know it and we will try to make better job).

Thanks again. It's not finished. Everyday, we have to be the best.
Today we are "okey". Tomorrow we can be "not okey". Please tell us
when we are "no okey".

we had some works in the datacenter this week and we couldn't
check this options in the manager to see if we can put it in
the production. I will check it today with dev dept in Ovh
to see what they added in internal-beta version. if I'm happy
with, we will put it in the production.

many thanks for your fair offers. it´s a pleasure for us to order a server in following days. what makes me wonder is the point, i have never seen before responseable peoples like you who talk to customers this way. i take off my hat to you !
The offers are explained very well and understandable for a non native german speaker like me.
