netboot erzeugt kernel panic

root@rescue:~# grep 00:1c:c0: /mnt/etc/udev/rules.d/70-persistent-net.rules

Deine Netzwerkkarte wurde von udev in eth1 umbenannt. Wenn du o.g. Datei
bereinigst (Einträge löschen oder kommentieren) sollte deine Netzwerkkarte
wieder eth0 heissen.

Laut Logs fährt er wohl doch problemlos hoch, jedoch stehen in den Logs hier und da Probleme mit xinetd. Alle Services laufen laut Logs auch, jedoch ist keiner von außen erreichbar. Möglicherweise ein Problem mit xinetd?

Im rescue die logs durchschauen und herausfinden ob der server nicht bootet
(fsck?) oder ob er bootet und nicht pingt (udev?)

Wenn dir das alles nichts sagt am besten backup machen und über den Manager
reinstallieren.

Hat nicht funktioniert, Server bootet nicht, starte nun wieder den Rescue-Modus.

Sonst irgendwelche Ideen?

Probier's mal ohne vKVM - nur den "echten" Netboot. / ist bei deinem Server
(wenn ich den richtigen gefunden habe) /dev/sda1.

Diese Meldung kommt bei dem Netboot über OVH.
Den Netboot habe ich über vKVM gemacht auf /dev/hda1 (er findet auch das Root-Verzeichnis).

Daher bin ich ja so überfragt.

Probiere es mal mit einem OVH-Netboot-Kernel. Achte darauf, dass der
"root="-Parameter korrekt ist, dieser muss auf deine /-Partition weisen.

Hallo,

ich habe dummerweise apt-get upgrade ausgeführt und das führte zu einem kernel-update. Natürlich hat das nicht funktioniert und es hat mein System hingerichtet. Ich zu doof es wieder hinzurichten mache noch mehr kaputt. Nun habe ich folgendes Problem wenn ich über netbook (vKVM) boote:
Kernel panic - not syncing: No Init found. Try passing init= option to kernel.

Kann mir jemand helfen?
